The petrol version of the car is incorporated with 1.2-litre Kappa Dual VTVT (variable timing valve train) engine. It has the capacity to displace 1197cc and can churn out the maximum power of 82bhp at 6000rpm, while yielding a 114Nm of peak torque at 4000rpm. This makes Grand i10 the best car to buy in India. On the other hand its diesel version is incorporated with 1.1-litre U2 CRDi mill, which can displace 1120cc. The car can give a maximum output of 0bhp at 4000rpm in combination with a maximum torque yield of 160Nm at 1500 to 2750rpm.
